Short version: no cookies, nothing stored in your browser, no tracking across sites, and nothing sold or shared for advertising. If you leave your email for letters, we use it for letters and nothing else.

Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

Letters. If you leave your email: your address, the page you signed up on, and when you signed up and confirmed. We use it to write to you about the next nests, and nothing else. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw with the link at the foot of every letter. A sign-up nobody confirms is deleted after 30 days. When you leave, your address is deleted.

Counting. We count visits and clicks (on Tickets, the letters form and the share link) as daily totals: which page, which site or campaign link sent the visitor, and which country. No cookies, no IP addresses, nothing that tells one visitor from another. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which invitations work. The totals are anonymous.

Delivering the page. Like every website, this one reaches you through a host. Cloudflare handles your IP address and browser details for a moment to send you the page and keep the site safe. The page loads its typeface from Google Fonts and its 3D library from jsDelivr, so your browser connects to them too and they see your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, safe site.

Writing to us. If you email hello@oddfest.co: your message and address, to answer you. Kept while the matter is open and up to two years after.

Tickets. Venga sells the tickets, hosted by ODDones, and handles your purchase under its own terms and privacy policy. As the organiser we can see ticket holders’ names and email addresses in Venga, and use them only for the night: entry, changes, and your safety.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, the letters list and the counts. The database is kept in the EU.
• Resend, Inc.: sends the confirmation mail and the letters.
• Venga: tickets, as a controller in its own right.
• Google (Google Fonts) and jsDelivr: see your IP address when the page loads.

Some of them are based in, or store data in, the US. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses. We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t share it with anyone for advertising.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or give it to you in a form you can take elsewhere, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. It’s free, and we answer within a month. Write to hello@oddfest.co.

If you’re not satisfied

Write to us first: most things are quicker to fix directly. If that doesn’t settle it, you can complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman of Finland: tietosuoja.fi.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
